What is Color Guard?

Color Guard, in a nutshell, is dancing with a flag, rifle, or saber!  During the Summer and Fall months, we perform with the Marching Band in local parades.  From August through October we compete with the Marching Band in field show competitions around the state of Utah.  During the Winter months (November - April) we compete (without the Marching Band) in Winter Guard competitions around the state of Utah.

Color Guard emphasizes technique, choreography, and performance in the areas of spinning and dance. This program is NOT just an after school program, it is a YEAR long, competitive program that is governed under the Winter Guard International (WGI) and the Utah Color Guard Circuit (UCGC). It is designed to help students become better spinners, dancers, performers, and choreographers.
